Mitch McConnell was treated for a cardiac arrest at his home last month, adding significant new detail to a hospitalization that has stretched on for weeks with limited official information.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationacrossamerica.com\/?p=747\">It looks like the \u201credemption\u201d of Louis C.K. is complete<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to the EMS dispatch audio from June 14, emergency responders were called to McConnell\u2019s Washington, D.C., residence for an \u201cunconscious\u201d person, with one dispatcher stating there was \u201cCPR in progress\u201d for a \u201ccardiac arrest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McConnell, 84, was hospitalized that same day. His office issued a brief statement at the time saying only that he had been admitted to the hospital and was \u201creceiving excellent care,\u201d without providing further details about his condition.<\/p>\n<p>In an updated statement this week, a spokesperson said McConnell \u201ccontinues to improve\u201d and continues to work with his Senate staff, but again did not address the nature of the medical emergency.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cSenator McConnell appreciates the outpouring of support he\u2019s receiving while he continues his recovery in the hospital.
